When we take a photo of the painting with a flash, we can see the writing in the book "He came for us". Another peculiarity is that when a ray of sunlight enters the window, the paints that were white begin to become colored, revealing Jesus with open arms.

DESCRIPTION:
Once again, I outdid myself with this painting. I put all my techniques on a single canvas. It was commissioned by a long-time friend who made me think deeply about the power of words. And here, it's not just any word, but the word of God. Furthermore, it will be placed at the head of the bed where he sleeps with his wife.
After some studies, I came to the conclusion that everything in the Bible is about Jesus Christ, and everything in it is an invitation to follow our savior. His words were inspired by God and the Holy Spirit. But aside from the religious issue, I want to talk about some things that made me take certain paths in painting.
Firstly, since my client friend has an autistic son, I thought about not using very strong colors because in my ignorance I thought that all autistic people didn't like strong lights, etc... However, in the case of Emanuel, he does like it! However, I had already bought the special pigments and painted the first layer, so I kept them.
Thus, the color palette was chosen based on my primary ignorance about autism, but also because in the bedroom where one sleeps it is convenient to have calmer colors, to relax and rest well.
The book, in this case the Bible, also has to do with the law of God, which is the inspiration for the law of men. And since my client friend and his wife are lawyers, I believe it came in handy to inspire their decisions.
The flower of life around Jesus is a symbol of prosperity in the family's life and the holy spirit, symbolized by the dove, is the only element that will continue to emit its light during the family's sleep.
The hands holding the Bible, one is whole and the other outside the frame, I did this to demonstrate human imperfection in the face of God's perfect things, to remind us to be humble and remember that we are flawed and sinful.
The circles that slowly appear around Jesus' head symbolize the awareness that Jesus gives us as we get to know him. Even the fact that his image gradually becomes more colorful is a symbol that the more we see him, the more we create his Christ consciousness within us.
A peculiarity about this painting is that its paints are white in artificial light and colored in black or UV light. And since the sun has a lot of UV light, when the bedroom window is opened and a ray of sunlight enters the room, the painting reacts by becoming colored.
Anyway, in this painting I tried to demonstrate this whole search to know Jesus, who often seems invisible and incomprehensible, but who in the end was always there with open arms.
