DESCRIPTION:
During a period of live painting at Casa Dodô and Bodega do Pitô, this work revealed itself to me. Initially, it was meant to depict an eagle flying at sunset over the sea: an image that came to me... Then, during the last painting session at Casa Dodô, I had the pleasure of meeting an old friend again, Janderson Cafola, and God spoke through him, who is an enlightened person. He told me that the eagle is a symbol of God, who with open wings blesses all of humanity. The sea is also a symbol of multitude, of people. And then he said to show the silhouette of a whale that could only be seen under black light. To complete this symbolism, I decided to paint a small man who would give the impression of actually walking on the desert sands, and seen under black light, he would be Jonah inside the whale. I recommend reading this short but profound book in the Bible.
