Title: Humpback HopeTechnique: Acrylic on MDFPlace and date of creation: Jaboticabal/SP, 04/21/19Identification number: 9131902Dimensions: 2 frames of 35 cm x 35 cmProvenance: Private collection of Vito Antonio Mastrochirico in São Paulo. My first order made by oceanographer Vito Mastrochirico Filho.
Without this work, perhaps I would not have discovered myself as a painter. In this work, I wanted to convey hope through the shades of green in the submerged waters of the sea, and by the diver who wants to touch the humpback fin. In addition, the light of the beacon that turns on in black light guides the lost boat, showing the direction. The sunset, representing the end of the day, is the background of the scenario of the top frame, showing the end, death, despair, however, when we dive into the bottom frame, we see that in the face of calamitous situations there is an entire universe to explore new adventures.Jubarte is the great guardian of the wisdom of the bottom of the sea that comes from before time was time and in the bottom of the sea is where the most hidden feelings are. The whale diving from light to shadows also symbolizes our search for self-knowledge, which is only possible when we dive deep into ourselves and seek to integrate the shadows with love in us, this is the process of enlightenment.
