DESCRIPTION:

Inspired by the verse of the song "Amor de Índio" by Milton Nascimento: “The destiny that was fulfilled of feeling its warmth and being whole”. Custom work by Guilherme Campos Costa to gift his mother Raquel Pires Campos at Christmas 2019.

In this work I tried to show that we are all children of the universe, and as such we are part of the whole, that is: we are one. So, in essence, we are all the same, regardless of color, sex, religion, nation, social class, or whatever. All separation is an illusion. We are the universe, inside and outside of us, we are just experiencing an experience of the ego in matter, each with its own purpose and learning.
